News this morning is reporting that our favorite sheriff of Mayberry has passed away at the age of 86 ..
In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

RIP. One if my favorites, was just watching Matlock Season 7.

He brought a lot of smiles to a lot of faces, and allowed people to go back to a simpler time and enjoy remembering what life was like when things werent so complicated. 
There were no special effects, no computer generated images, no color enhancing, no big name stars making special appearnaces, and still, we all set our dvr, or we buy box sets to watch any of his tv shows, or movies.
He was a gifted man that will be remembered for a long time.  People that never met him in person, and had no ties to him, will get a smile when they think of him.  What better legacy could one hope to leave behind.
