I guess I need some help here, I searched the tech support forum and did not find anything like this, but perhaps I searched with the wrong terms.....

Here's the problem, I have a DVD in my collection, a rather obscure title btw, "mister ATLAS", starring T.J. Lowther, Laura Johnson, and Timothy Bottoms, (whom my spouse loves, and the reason for the DVD).  Bar code is 8 42718 00133 3

It's visible in the collection view, and it can be searched on, and printed, but it will not allow me to select it for any edits, nor does it pull up any sort of detail information, when I look at it in the main profiler screen it is in the list, and it is sorting on the second word of the title, "Atlas", and the little box to the left of the first character in the title, almost appears dimmer than the others, anyway, I can't put a check in this box, nor can I double click and get detail on this title, it always pull up detail on what ever other title I looked at last, regardless of what I try.  When clicked the title is highlighted in blue, but detail from another title always shows in the display pane, and this is the detail that pulls up.  It appears that the dvd is in the database, but not in the data base, color me confused.

No other titles appear like this, this is the only one I cannot get to, and of course, this is the one that needs some editing.  The collection number is present in the view, but no date information, and no cast information displays.  It could be this was a manual entry, cannot remember, it's been awhile since I last printed my catalog.

I was going to just delete and readd, but I can't get to it to delete it, I seem to be stuck here.....

thanks for any thoughts on this.

This will likely fix the problem:

Inside of Profiler, go to "Tools -> Options -> Utilities -> Repair Profile Database"

The local database can do weird things sometimes

If that doesn't solve the problem, let us know and we will investigate further.

(Oh cool.... my lucky post #777.  JACKPOT! )

Thanks Blair, that got it.  I knew there was a way to rebuild the db, just could not track it down, senility and all that!
