| Posted: | | | | What I would like for a potential version 3.9 or 4.0:
I'd like to have a settings dialog that has checkboxes for all downloadable fields (e.g. cast, crew, studios, discs) that are generally available.
And I want to choose to NOT download certain fields upon adding a new profile.
Explanation: I don't care for studios. I don't need them, I don't want them. I have my own cast & crew system. I don't want my local database cluttered with "Invelos approved birth years" and Invelos approved common names". But when I download a profile they are there and I have to remove them again. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | +1 Would be great if it could default to the settings of the last addition. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | For the long haul: yes, include it in the options. But currently, I'd be very happy, if I could at last set this individually in the "Add DVD" preview window. The only current workaound is, to add empty profiles (deactivate "Download from Invelos") to the local Db, and then revisit each added profile shell through "Preview Changes" (aka Update), where you at least now can lock directly in the comparison screen. I've been doing this for quite some time now, but it's really, really annoying. Overall +1 for the proposal. |
