Tried shutting down dvdProfiler but nothing happened.  So clicked on the SystemX again and nothing.  Click on File .. nothing.  After a while and with absolutely no response from dvdProfiler I had to use Task Manager to shut it down.

During the shut down of dvdProfiler i got this ..

I then shut down the system completely, something I never have to do.  After restarting the system I then tried to start dvdProfiler.  I got a message that the file was to new and would have to get a newer version of dvdProfiler?? After sitting for 4-5 seconds it appeared to continue back to starting up.

Finally got the message that dvdProfiler didn't shut down completely and did i want to start the fix db.

Before anyone jumps to the guess that the problems i have been having are system problems on my computer please understand that i use this computer every day for system work and programming.  I have had no issues with any program other that dvdProfiler.  And I had no problems with dvdProfiler until the last couple of weeks.  During this time I have added the headshots, updated to 3.8 and added a lot of pictures for gallery.  I don't know what any of that means or why it would cause any problems but those are the changes i have made.

To be fair I am running a full suite of diaogs with emphasis on memory.  If there is something wrong with my system i will be the first to admit it.  I hate it when users blame my code for their problems <G>.

Thanks

What are your hardware specs? Which Anti-virus program are you using? OS?

Hardware and software are the same as it has been.  No sw has been installed since dvdProfiler.

win vista 64 ultimate
eset nod32 virus and firewall
hp 64 bit 4 or 8 gigs of memory
all the basic hw

Once again same as has been.

I have just completed the diaogs both memory and hardware .. everything is fine here
