I am looking for a way(s) to connect/use my dvdProfiler db while i am on the road.  What is the best way to do this.

1) Do i have to setup a 'network' connection and all the hassle that entails?  If so what have you found that works best?

2) Is there a 'mobile' (not little phones) version?

3) If i have to buy a complete new copy of dvdProfiler, is there a way to "sync" the database back and forth with changes?

Thanks
DSig

Do you have a notebook/netbook? If so, you can copy your database onto it and run with the same license.

If not "little phone", do you still have an old Windows PDA? If so, you can run DVD Profiler Mobile on it.

I snyc my database by USB flash drive, but I don't change the databases simultaneously therefore in one moment I always only have one master DB.

So using the same license on the laptop when on the road is okay?  So the license is 'like a book' license and not 'copy' license.

Thanks for that.  It will make things easier.

I have two versions in the same room at my place .. BUT always use the Master (first) as the primary for updating and pre loading then upload that to the Invelos data . .then download  that data to the second data Base.

it will transfer even the watched list as well as typed notes .. Only photoshopped images for cover art will not download  as the data takes the master Images for storage and sends those along with the prearranged UPC/ean  / /or disc Info  ..
