I picked up a copy of Game of Thrones: Season 1 used so the bar code is not on the box set (it was on that piece of paper that was attached to the box, and the paper is gone), so I just grabbed a profile that looked complete (figuring they're all the same).  The profile I grabbed is 883929229062.

It also came with one of those "buy it at this store, get this exclusive disc" discs (the Wal-Mart one).  So I downloaded that profile by name as well.

I went to manually add the exclusive disc to box set contents of the Game of Thrones parent, which already has the individual disc children there (wasn't going to submit, just want the bonus disc in the box set contents locally).  It will let me add it in the profile, but when I hit OK and leave the profile, it has not added that disc, and the exclusive disc's profile is still separate.

I have run the Database Repair and then tried it and it still doesn't work.

Any clues?

Is it possible that you still have the profile of the other DVD set, for example in the Wish List? So technically the disc is already attached to a parent but it doesn't look like it because they are in two different collection types?

What does it look like when you switch to the All tab?

Both the Game of Thrones set, it's children, and the bonus disc are in owned.

In the All tab, the set is a profile, with its attached children, and the bonus disc is a separate profile.

You could flag these profiles, backup them and send it to karsten [at] yajirobi [dot] de.

I'd take a look if you like.

Do you want to simply try downloading them from the main db and seeing if you can replicate the effect first?

The parent UPC is 883929229062, it's the US profile (if there's another locality)
I also downloaded the attached children

Then the other is Game of Thrones (Wal*Mart Exclusive Bonus Disc)

UPDATE:  The parent profile will let me add an unrelated profile to the box set contents, just not the profile I want.  Grr.

Okay, first I added and all it's children.
The I re-opened the add dialog, add by title, added the Wal*Mart profile.

And then I could attach it without problem. Sorry :-(

You can still send it to me so I can check if it has to do with your specific profile (i.e. defect database entry).

It occurred to me to delete the Walmart disc from the local db, then re-add the profile by title.  And that worked.  So, whatever it was, was in that profile.  *shrug*

Thanks for your help, esp. in making me think!  Lots of greenies for you!
