Can anyone tell me why from day one of owning this software for over 2 years now and having been installed on multiple computers in that time has always given the red blank thumbnails on about 10 percent of my movies, at random, about every 3rd or 4th restart and i have to rebuild thumbnails?  THIS IS NOT HARDWARE SPECIFIC SO DON'T GO THERE.  This is some of the buggiest software I've ever used much less purchased which I have.

I don't know why you are having this problem, but I have been using this software for right around 12 years and have never had that issue.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Agreed. I've been using it for several years and never encountered that problem either. Have you run the database repair utility? And just so I can get a visual, can you post a screenshot?

No problems here with "Collection -> Thumbnail Settings..." or the thumbnail display.

100%..... where or where is this setting that makes thumbnails 100%?  I see large, medium, etc. but no 100%......?

Regardless, thanks for being the only one with an actual meaningful response.  It appears the folks who frequent this forum are in fact the company salesmen or developers who own it and have not made a single update in years.... thanks for nothing.

Can you be more specific about the computers you've installed it on?

I'm not a salesman or developer and I update the database on an almost daily basis (and those who have responded also make great contributions).

Sorry I couldn't help but I never came across this, though it could be the layout I use. Which one do you use? Can you upload a screenshot?

Gee, apturbo, you come with an attitude, saying that this is the buggiest software that you have ever used, and even shouting "DO NOT GO THERE" before anyonne has even commented on your problem.

Then when regular users point out that they have never had any problems, you go on to abuse them as well.

And you wonder why people don't respond...?

I also seem to remember that the thumbnail if not in Hi def can be resized . .I must admit I don't see the resizing either  ( oh and Large would be 100%) .. It has been a few years and I'm sure it is not i nthe new 3.7.2  build 1444  but perhaps an earlier edition?

anyway  I do remember for sure the resizing of the thumbnail from small to large eliminates the red X .
