I've found the best way for me is to use Google: Accepted Birth Years with Documentation: Cast or Crew Name.
This not only show me the appropriate thread it also alerts me if the name is not on the Accepted BY list. |

Lets say I want to search for Brad Pitt on this site
I put "Brad Pitt" Invelos into the search field and hit enter. Almost always if there is a birth year for the searched person it'll show up in the results.
If not and I want to make sure I add Birth Year after Invelos as above.
If nothing shows up then I know that either it's not an accepted/approved birth year or no one has contributed it yet (in cases where I know a new birthyear is needed. | | | | Last edited: by CubbyUps |

I was able to Google the data and contribute it while the search thread was still looking for the information. I tried it for the same purpose and it worked OK. Name search took about 10 seconds, so I would say that it's usable. Google is still much faster though. |
