Good evening,

I come you ask of the help because I meet a problem with my possessed DVD. DVD Profiler rest blocked in 595 while in my collection, I have 605 of it of numbered.
I repaired the base, deleted the saving to return to a previous version and so uninstalled / reinstalled the software but nothing to make I always remain blocked in 595 in them possessed.
Anybody would have a solution please? I use Windows 7.

Saddened if my English is not very understandable, I am French and I use a translator. Thank you in advance.

Yes, 605 DVD refers to the number of collection

Under the top row of tabs, do you use the Collection tab> reassign collection numbers option?

Yes, I also used the option to re-dial the number of the collection and my possessed stays in 595 while he shows 605 in the collection.

Have you some DVDs that were in the  Owned list that are now in another list, say Ordered or Wish list?

Try a different numbering type, than the one your are using, Purchase Date, Release Date, Title.
See if the numbering changes, then redo your preferred ordering type.
Also check your sort title.

Seems to me like a problem with "Count As..."

To solve the problem:
- right-click in the collection list header
- flag "Count As..." "Ascending"
- Check the first 10 for their "Count As" value (to be found in the profile editor -> "Personal" tab)
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

To change the list of sorting does not resolve the problem.
I also looked at the values for " account as " and they are exact.

The problem comes especially whom the added DVD last ones are very present in the list but not counted.

If you are assigning the collection numbers by Purchase date, have you checked correctness of the p;purchase dates?

They are assigned by number of collection and not by date of purchase

Please refresh your online collection to the latest value, maybe the error can be seen there too.

To refresh your online collection use DVDProfiler menu "Online -> DVDProfiler Online ..." choose "Upload".

Under Reassign Collection Number, one of the fields by purchase, release or title has to be set.

Lewis, I cannot put it on-line because this collection is not mine but that of my father-in-law and we are under the same license.
