I recently installed DVD profiler again, after not having used it for about a year. I recently installed new version of Windows, so I installed DVD profiler again.

I've got 3 backups of my database, but when I try to restore the database, it seems like it's working, but no titles appears in the program. I've tried the repair option as well, but my backups don't seem to load into the program?

What do I do?

Yeah, I tried the first option by restoring, then loading the file. It's loading the database (for about .5 seconds), but nothing shows up.

Unfortunately, I never backed up my database online.

Could it be that I'm trying to load wrong file? Are there other file locations than the default where I can search?

Of course the original C: is wiped, so the old folder is no longer available.

How big are those files? Are they called *.dpb?

If you want/can upload the newest one somewhere and send me the link, I'll try to restore it on a test-system of mine.

You said that c: was wiped, did your user-data reside on c: also? Or did you at some point made a copy of your user-data? See Data Recovery for the path that DVD Profiler uses.

The latest is 33397 KB.

Yeah, the user-data was on C:, so it was also wiped. Is it possible to PM files?

Edit: and they are .dbp-files yes.

Just to make sure, you go File -> Restore Database choose the backup-file with Browse and click Next and in the next window you choose "Restore all profiles", "Restore Profiles" is checked and a grayed-out list is visible and you press OK and nothing happens?

Well, there's no list in the grayed-out list, and it says "inaccesible" (don't know if this is the word in the english language version" in a blue box on top of the big gray box.

Edit: The .dbp-file is to large to send you as an email.

Very good. I was just about to write something about the "inaccesible", maybe it was a simple case of missing rights to read the files(s).
