1. Joseph E. Livine presents -----> Producer?
2. at beginning Logo for MGM Logo for AVCO Embassy
end Embassy pictures present, Sprngtime production (joint Venture of U-m Productions and Crossbow Productions
trying to decide Studio Content order
According to IMDB (OH NO, that word), AVCO Embassy was the Theatrical Release (US), embassy and Springtime were production studios. does that leave MGM out (except for Media Company)? |

| Posted: | | | | 1.: No. Some users trace this as "Custom Role".
2.: AFAIK we track the studios "As Credited" and not according to splash screens. So it would be 1: Embassy Pictures 2: Springtime
I would completely omit MGM and AVCO if there weren't any "real" credits. But that is only me, so wait for other responses. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | I did a little research and 'AVCO Embassy' is the same company as 'Embassy Pictures' so that is an easy one as the written name takes priority over the logo and 'presents' usually means they were the theatrical distributor. List it first.
The MGM logo, I am guessing, is probably there due to the fact that MGM purchased the rights to distribute the DVD...IMDb confirms this guess. Leave it out of the studio list.
Springtime...also an easy one, list second.
U-M Productions is listed first, among the joint production companies, so it would go third.
As for your first question, I must...though I don't like it...agree with Lewis. While Joseph E. Levine was the Executive Producer, we don't credit 'presents'. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. Yeah, I see this on all MGM dvds. They remove other logos and slap theirs on, been doing it as long as I can recall too. Filmratings.com often has the original distributors listed, so does IMDB but errors still abound so be careful and double-check any info from them. |
