I'm doing a full audit of an oldish title (released back in 1995) and in the opening credits there are two names credited under "Computer Generated Imagery". Could (or would) that be entered as Visual Effects?

I would say if there's no other Visual Effects credit, then definitely.

If there is other Effects credits, then I'm unsure.

If there is no credit matching one of those in the credit list (http://www.invelos.com/dvdpro/contributions/Rules.aspx?display=credits) then there is no visual effects credit as we track them.

Just leave it empty.  No need to force credits to match what we track.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

The only other credits (re: effects) was one immediately afterward for "Special Digital Effects" but the credit is to "Mark Burnett Productions". I checked the end credits but there are no credits for that company...

Tweeter: True enough.

I would say yes if we then allow any variant form of "CGI" for every movie.

I would say no.  CGI is not an allowed credit

And I would be against an if then or else statement for it.

I wonder how they kept the dinosaurs from wrecking the soundstages back then?
