How the restore the backup file when something go wrong, i had a virus in my computer while updating the database and the program did't work anymore. Then i downloaded a new version and try to restore but i have no idea.

The recommended way:
DVDProfiler menu: File -> Restore Profile Database
and follow the instructions.
If for some reason your backup file is corrupted there is a second option

DVDProfiler menu: Online -> DVD Profiler Online
Choose "Download"
Sadly this would mean that you'd lose custom coverscans.

The problem here might be that your online collection is slightly outdated (02/10/2011) so that you'd have to re-enter the purchases of the last months manually.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
