Recently bought an Ipad 2 and it seems handy to use it for my dvd database.
Not yet an Apple buff.
How do I proceed to get things on my Ipad?
And can I synchronize the database with my PC ?
Thanks, Barend

If you log into the AppStore (iTunes) you can find the DVD Profiler for iOS: http://itunes.apple.com/app/dvd-profiler-for-ios/id408455612

This is the Invelos developed app - and works very well for carrying and updating your collection on your iOS device(s).

I use it both on my iPhone and iPad 2 and both syncs fine with my local collection database.

If you buy the iOS app, just go to the databases tab and follow the instructions. The help section there tells you everything you need to know. If you should have trouble connecting to your PC check this guide.

This went very smoothly and easily!

I would like to add PLACE / BIN (not exactly what it's called in English) to Personal Information.
Every DVD is tagged like B (Bin) and 77 (Place in bin).
Is that possible?

Thanks, Barend

Just use "Location" and "Slot" fields.

I made a new thread ipad app, because I feel there'll be more questions in the future.
