I have a problem with saving my collection to a memorycard (16gig). There's no prblem saving it to the harddrive on my laptop, but when I try to save it to the memorycard it stops at the end and starts asking for empty DVD-discs and it dosnt stop asking for them either, i cancelled the back-up process when it asked för DVD nr 5. I have a collecton of ca 2000 DVD-titles but I donät thing that info is on more then 16 gig.

Maybe you should doublecheck the size of the backup file on the hard drive. If it is larger than the available space on the SD card, then that could be your problem.

Some backup programs automatically recognize removable media and attempt to span media for a backup that will not fit on a single element, such as a DVD disc. Maybe Invelos is using such a service under the covers.

This issue might be worthy of a trouble ticket to get an official solution from Invelos.
Thanks for your support.

Do you use the "Removable Drive" option? If yes: don't!

Just navigate via "Specific Location" to the drive and off you go.

IMHO the removable-thing is a remnant of the floppy-disk-era where you had to enter several empty 1,44MB-disks to get things going.

Of course! Although I used 160kb only on C64, I started PC with a 5,25"-Floppy (1,2MB)

But I didn't want to go too far back without knowing Jens' age!

PS a few weeks ago I found one of my first old HDDs ... a whooping 850MB. Nowadays you can't even buy USB-Sticks that small ...

My first HD was 50 MB and weighed a ton. Still an improvement over tapes that held 40 kbytes. But that was in the days that MS considered that 64 kbytes was more than any computer would ever need.
