| Posted: | | | | We can already score: - Movie - DVD
I would like it to be: - Movie - Picture quality - Audio quality - Extras - Overall
(or to have the option) |

There you can choose all those options.
You can even choose to have the review field use the bars or stars. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Hello,
It would be good that we can sort out the list only according to the score of the movie or according to the quality of the video, but not only according to the sum of these two scores, as now. |

| Posted: | | | | I agree cross sorts would be nice, but the long way around, you can accomplish this with tags. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |

| Posted: | | | | Hello, I have an another problem with sort according review : profiles inside a box set aren’t sorted (of course). I found this workaround : I remove (definitively) the box set (I keep the content, of course) and I put a same prefix "BOX" before the title of each of the profiles contained in the box set, and the same sort title. But perhaps there is another method ? Quoting mreeder50: Quote: I agree cross sorts would be nice, but the long way around, you can accomplish this with tags. | Posted: | | | | Create tags under a tag called Box Sets for parent level 1, Parent level 2 and child. the outer box is level 1; level2 is used if the box has cases (multiple Keep Cases or THINpks)) inside it with DVDs the child is used for the DVDs in the box. I also have a manual profiles tag called Grandfather which i put all the James bonds, Star Trek, music types (jazz, opera, pop), lectures, etc. together. When you get over 17,000 profiles of every type tags and adding extra genres is the only way to keep track of every thing. | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own. | Posted: | | | | Thanks Srehtims !
For me, two levels are enough : one for the Box and one for the children, only for the boxes with children. And with Collection/Flagged/Set tags it's easy to tag.
Indeed, this soft is very powerful. |

But perhaps there is another method ? My old approach was to include the boxset-title into the sort-titles of the children. So on an Alfred Hitchcock Boxset I own the sort-titles looked like this: Alfred Hitchcock |- Alfred Hitchcock: Birds |- Alfred Hitchcock: Family Plot |- Alfred Hitchcock: Frenzy |- Alfred Hitchcock: Man Who Knew Too Much (and so forth) Which put them in their right place, but later on became a burden for my purpose [see signature], so I abandoned this practice. For reports I would use a Tag-structure like srehtims described. As for how to make them, here is an introduction to them. Also you might want to play around with Collection -> Nest Box Sets which might come in handy here. cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |
