| Posted: | | | | So i bough a copy of "One Hell of a Christmas" and it has a different UPC then the one in the database, however every other detail is the same, so i took the existing one and changed the upc and back cover scan and am trying to contribute it but it keeps getting declined, how can i properly contribute this? | | | Owner, Operator and Reviewer http://vaultofobscurity.com |

| Posted: | | | | I tried checking your online collection... but it seems you haven't updated it yet. So without being able to look at it. And not knowing if there was a reason given for the decline... there is a couple things I can think of...
Is there any Uncredited in the cast? If yes what did you use for documentation?
Did you tell them you used the other profile for the basis of this one? If so you need to tell them the UPC number of the profile you got the info from. I have had declines before because I forgot to give them the UPC number of the original profile. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Did you put something like "cloned from [UPC/EAN of source profile]" in your contribution notes ? Also there are probably some necessary changes you need to make. The DVD release date of your version will definitely be different from the one in the source profile.
I just got a contribution for a new release with different UPC approved. My notes looked like this:
"Cloned from 5-014503-028373 Changes made from source profile: - Release date (taken from 5-051561-030581 - the box-set containing this DVD, back cover only specifies the year 2009) - removed SRP (unknown for this release) - changed case type - added front and back cover for this release - removed booklet from other features" |

| Posted: | | | | Looking at your previous contribution notes for other titles, I suspect you didn't supply the original UPC from which you cloned the profile from which you need when contributing cast and crew. | | | Last edited: by The Movieman |
