I was looking thru Amazon's Black Friday sales, first the TV and then Movies.
For the hell of it I clicked on the high to low price and here is what I found:
The Inspector Lynley Mysteries 4 - In Divine Proportion
DVD
2 used from $99,999.98

Now I have that and it was a good watch, but $99,999.98, I must be somebody's joke.
and Der Damon Und Die Jungfrau  (trans. I think: The Virgin and the Demon) for $1,000,000,000.00.
We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own.

Imagine if I import it here in Canada the total of taxes I will have to pay when it will cross the border...

99,999.98$ + 15% taxes (14,995$) + 5$ = 114,999.98$

I guess I will pass as it's my dvd budget for many many many years

And that's for the cheap DVD. You got the other one in there for $1B which is, for you, is $150,000,000! I think my calculation is right...

This is probably the result of two or more price bots that got into a war with each other.

"book at $23,698,655.93 (plus $3.99 shipping)"

LO, I like the shipping cost part. Interesting read, though.

I got a response from the $1B seller:

Quote:
The astronomical price currently is part of a system in synching an item we have created and posted to Amazon with our own database. There is a period of time after we post an item new to Amazon that our database can't see a sale. During this period we post the item such so it won't accidentally sell. Look for the price to go down to a fair level in the next few days.
