Which format would you say has had the best limited editions.

I'm sure this will change, but for now dvd rules it.

Blu-ray just hasn't caught up or had enough LE's, and when they do it's mostly standard boxsets or tinbooks. DVD got creative, even if you hated some of them. I'm thinking about the Showgirls V.I.P. boxset, the Scarface briefcase, Basic Instinct icepack, Total Recall "Mars" tin, Big Lebowski Bolwing Ball LE. These are just the US ones. There's also the Phantasm sphere from the U.K.

The collest BD LE's I can think of are the Alien "Guardian" (pretty dope, but those Japan Alien heads for ther dvd sets are way cooler). Other ones like Batman Begins or Incredible Hulk are just the same as dvd LE's, so yeah, dvd is still winning but I expect more cool stuff to come to blu as it gets bigger, and it is getting bigger.

Last year I was one of a few who had BD in town it seems. I could get new movies from the library in no time, little wait. When dvd lines would be 200+, bd would be 10-20. Now most bd lines for new stuff at the library is 100-150. Sucks for me, great news for the format.

Very true 

I only go for the full blown statue things occasionaly. They take up too much space, and are often way overpriced.

I did get the Alien Egg release though. That was one I couldn't resist either.
