Add the profile to your collection:
- Open DVDProfiler menu "DVD -> Add to collection"
- Use tab "Add by UPC" and enter the UPC
- Unflag "Download from Invelos"
- Click on "Add to collection"

You now have a brand new and completely empty profile which you can fill with all the data.

Contributing to the maindatabase
- For contributing this profile to the maindatabase it is recommended to read the contribution rules first.
- When the profile matches your personal requirements (it doesn't have to be complete!) and the contribution rules go to DVDProfiler menu "Online -> Contribute DVD Profile..." and follow the instructions.
- It is required to give the sources of your data in the contribution notes, usually something in the lines of "New [Media Type] all data taken from credits except for [Enter Exceptions (e.g. Overview)] which were taken from [Enter Source (e.g. Backcover)]" will suffice.

The by far easier way is to search for an existing profile of the same title and download this to your collection, next go to menu "DVD -> Change UPC..." and change the UPC and/or the locality to your values.
Make the necessary changes to the profile (new scans, release date, features, overview, etc) and upload this data according to the instructions given above.
Since there still are many profiles with not entirely correct datasets it is highly recommended to verify the downloaded data against the actual data (DVD-credits)
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Main ones:

1. Use the title from the front cover.

2. Check capitalization of the title.

2a. Sometimes, change the all capitals title into standard capitalization.

    2b. Sometimes, don't.
Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. [Ken Cole, DVD Profiler Architect]
