Well today for fun I decided to see on the internet if there has been any News on ONE of my Many Quests in life.......  and lo and behold I found My wish has been Granted .

The Flim Flam Man has  been released - but not by 20th Century  Fox video but by ' Screen Archives Entertainment ' .. and Only thru Amazon and only 3000 copies available (since Sept 8th 2011) ..  ......  Got my order in right away and am looking forward to what the article here says Widescreen Panavision ( 2.35:1)/anamorphic -(amazon notes)  along with isolated Music score of Jerry Goldsmith's fabulous musical score ..

( Now to see if it is in the data banks here at Invleos ......)

Yup mdnitoil  put it in back in August ..
In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

These are not available through Amazon only - you can get them through Screen Archives.

Actually they are. You can order through Amazon Marketplace...which I just did .

Edit: After re-reading your post, I think I may have misunderstood you. I thought you were saying that they were not available through Amazon. Now that I read it again, I think you meant that they are not only available through Amazon but also Screen Archives?

Don't know the movie but I love Jerry Goldsmith's score. It's going for quite some prices over at Amazon, but a German Soundtrack store called Chris' Soundtrackcorner still has it for a normal price.

Screen Archives has been distributing these titles, once a month.  The company Twilight Time has an arrangement with Fox.  They are concentrating on films that have interesting music scores.  So far, each one in the series has had an isolated music score as a bonus feature.  Oh, and each title is limited to 3000 copies.  That's why you'll find all the titles in the online.  I pre-order them as they become available.  It's also what precipitated the Stagecoach writing credits thread as their last release was the 1966 remake.

If there's one film i can't find any justification as to why it has not been released. It has to be the Sean Connery film Woman of Straw.

I mean they have even managed to release even though for a very very short time, The Disappearance. A little known thriller with Donald Sutherland.

Made on Demand.  A burnt disc instead of pressed.
