I have had HTML enabled for notes since right after I installed the program, several months ago. I use it for in-program YouTube previews, & have never had problems. Now all of the sudden, every time I choose a movie that has a YouTube trailer that would show in the notes pane, the whole program crashes, every time.
Anyone have any idea what would cause this?

Don't know if this will help, but have you made any changes since the last time you ran it successfully and the first time it failed. Such as:
System updates
Program updates, possibly, flash, quicktime, Windows media player, video drivers, etc.
Any other program, no matter how much you may think it has nothing to do with your present problem.

It has been my experience that the most insignificant update can break something else. You also might try a database repair from the options menu of DVDP.

Good luck. Someone else may have more experience with the particular issue you are having.

YouTube has changed its embed format recently, but I think it was a couple of months ago. Not sure if this affects your method.
Thanks for your support.

Thanks for the replies...
Yes, that's what I'm thinking. The problem is, I hadn't used DVDP for over a month & in that time, there were several OS updates, & I installed several programs, & several others were updated. I had recently installed Avast IS &  Malewarebytes, so I started by uninstalling both of these, but there was no change.
I was also getting an error message for a while, when DVDP first opened: "Invalid Floating Point Operation" & then the program would crash. I tried uninstalling & re-installing DVDP several times, & it seems to have corrected the Invalid Floating Point Operation error, but I'm Still getting a crash any time I have the Notes pane open with HTML enabled.
For now, I guess I'll have to leave HTML disabled, until I can track down what is causing the problem. I'm not real happy about it though, as being able to have an in-program movie trailer was one of the reasons I purchased DVDP. I guess I'll just have to start eliminating/downgrading programs & updates until I hit on the right one (Which will take forever lol)
I'm also going to Install DVDP on my desktop & see if it functions properly on it, as it has a very similar setup as the laptop I'm having problems with at present.
Forgot to mention...The machine I'm running DVDP on & having problems is an laptop -  HP DV7, 6 GB RAM, dual core AMD 650 GB HDD.

Please repair and/or reinstall your "Tahoma.ttf" (True Type Font) from your Windows CD/DVD.

This system font is vital for DVDProfiler purposes, when it is corrupted and/or missing DVDProfiler doesn't work as expected in many cases. Usually the first indicator for this is an "Invalid Floating Point Operation", next you will notice that the tabs have no description anymore.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Thanks...I tried this, & while I'm not getting that particular error anymore, I still get a crash when previewing any movie that contains a YouTube trailer in the notes pane, with HTML enabled. I think I forgot to mention that the laptop this is happening on is running windows 7 home x64.
I just installed DVDP on my desktop, which has similar specs to the laptop (except only 4 GB RAM), but is running Windows 7 Ultimate x64. It seems to be working fine on the desktop. I'm at a loss...I'll just have to keep removing programs/updates I guess, til I hit on the right one. Very time consuming though lol...

EDIT: something else I just noticed. The "filmstrip" Icon on the toolbar, that normally opens YouTube trailers is now greyed out & no longer works...Strange.

Edit 2: Got the "View Trailers" button to work by using the "refresh updated profiles from invelos" under the online tab.
After fooling with it for a while, I think I have found the problem with the HTML in notes. If I use the "view trailers" button on the tool bar, & use that embed code, it gives a large HTML code, & that causes DVDP to crash when the notes pane is opened...But if I go directly to YouTube & get the code from there, it's a shorter code & it seems to work fine.
Funny though, because a lot of the older trailers  that I entered in notes using the longer HTML quite a while ago( around 6 months or more) still seem to work ok. Seems that the ones that don't work are the ones I added around a month and a half or so ago using the "view trailers" button on the toolbar.

Last Edit: Well, after going through several movies and editing the HTML to the shorter versions, I discovered it's still crashing sometimes. I give up lol. Just going to disable HTML notes on the laptop. It still works on my desktop, so I guess that's something. Still kind of pisses me off though lol.
