In nearly 50% of cases when I add a new dvd by UPC and add basic information (including video format eg. check in PAL, check in 16 x 9    with aspect ratio 1.85 : 1) I can't contribute the entry.

When i try, it says:

"Unable to contribute this profile.
No video formats specified"

Editing the dvd-entry does not seem to help.
Repairing the profile database doesn't seem to help.

What might?

You'd have to flag "Widescreen" too
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Thanks, I flagged the 'widescreen' and now it works.
Maybe it should automatically flag it when 16 x 9 is chosen? Well, I can continue now.
Thanks again for quick answer.
