It's been a while since a baseball film, or any sports film has attracted a top actor. Certainly from the trailer i have high hopes for this one.

good trailer.. but I kept thinking I was watching Robert Redford and Stephen Furst together for the first time...
In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

Certainly The Natural came to my mind when i seen the trailer. The other film i think your referring to is The Dream Team, which i haven't seen. I think it has more of an audience in the US and Canada, than here.

One of those films that appeals greatly to those of North American culture, yet lost on others. Saying that i have had my moments such as when i seen Defending Your Life. A film not heard of much outside North America.

And i enjoyed it greatly on many levels.

This looks fun, plus I remember and loved Billy Bean so I'm looking forward to it. So refreshing to see actual MLB uniforms than some made-up league/teams as well. Good enough reviews and I'll go to the theater, which I don't do for anything but horror/sci-fi anymore. I just hope it's in 3D (kidding!).
