Ok, while entering the cast for this one, I pulled up IMDB to double check a few things ( mostly making sure I spelled a few things right given I can hardly read the roles played on the DVD )

There were a few actors that have names and credited as so I checked vs dvdp.

Got a giggle when this came up for

Joseph McCarthy credited as Joe McCarthy

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0565191/

Had to snicker a bit

That would be a hell of a surprise.
Wonder where they dug him out.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

That would have to be Saint Marys Cemetery in Appleton, Wisconsin, USA . I wonder how they fattened him up for his role?

Gotta luv IMdB .

as you all know  ( or maybe not) .,, IMDB is also depending on your accuracy reports to help them out ..
You sign up .. get an account  then go into the data corrections and correct problem(s) like that ......

kinda like here at Invelos where we have Only a data base of available for sale DVD titles .. where IMDB has every type of film and television footage Titles.,,  with every regard to all kinds of information/fact and cast and crew with a long  long list of credits that we don't even touch here over at Invelos ..

so there is Bound to be problems  just as we have problems with our own data base .....

So you have to keep in mind that for what IMDB is and what it represents it does a fairly good job , and if you  catch a goof .. get in there and fix-it  ....  jmho..

Well, outside of just telling them its wrong I have no idea who the other actor is or what other films he has done, or heck what he even looks like.

well according to what IMDB  has listed for  ' limitless' the bit part Day Trader #1  is played by a very common name of McCarthy (and Joe to beat all first names )..
by coincidence it is also a very famous politician from the 40's .. So who who ever initially put that name in the data base was too lazy to formally introduce that name to a new data base of actor IV  ( or whatever)  and just cut a corner to get that name planted and in place ..

part of the problem over at IMDB is there a small staff of unpaid (?) volunteers who check this , where they should have all voting go to the 'mass imdb accounts'  for approval (such as we do here ..)

but on second thought nothing would ever get approved because of all the squabbles ...

Don't forget that IMDB has also been known to intentionally seed bad data from time to time to help identify who's been using their data.
