| Posted: | | | | Just watched La Bamba and noticed the Credit for Rosana DeSoto differed from the Case back, Credited as Rosana DeSoto to the opening and closing credits where it is Rosana De Soto. Checked her names in CLT and only 2 La Bamba for De Soto(Denmark & Portugal) . All the other profiles in CLT have DeSoto. | | | Last edited: by ateo357 |

If the closing credits have her credit as Rosana De Soto and all the profiles in the system have her as Rosana DeSoto, then the profiles are wrong.
And asking just to make sure, sometimes it's a huge god damn pain in the a$$ to determine if there really is a space for names like this in the credits. Not that I'm doubting you at all, but you're sure there's a space in the last name? I'm only asking 'cause I find it hard to believe that every profile is wrong. I would even bank of most of them being wrong with all the IMDB data we have mined into the system, but I would've thought someone would've caught one along the way (it is entirely possible you're the first though!!). | | | The night is calling. And it whispers to me soflty come and play. |

| Posted: | | | | I double checked. That's why I'm asking, I thought maybe I was wrong. Could use a solid visual check from someone else. Before I submit. |

| Posted: | | | | According to IMDb, she was credited as 'Rosana De Soto' in La Bamba. They have her common name as 'Rosana DeSoto' so I am guessing, as Merrik suggested, that they were all IMDb mined. This film is old enough that it is possible. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | I've noticed that. I've been watching alot of 80's movies and have noticed most look like they are directly from IMDB. |

That's because, prior to the rules being written, a lot of people used IMDb importing tools and simply uploaded the data. It got in because third party data wasn't explicitly forbidden and we weren't able to vote on submissions. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | Just visually confirmed..it is De Soto. There's definitely a space between the e and S. | | | My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT. FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that. Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it! |
