This may be a stupid question...but I've run into this quite a bit lately auditing TV box sets, always in opening credits within the list of Producers, Executive Producers, Co-Producers, etc.

Rules state: DO NOT contribute "Production Supervisor" credits in Producer section.
Rules state: [Do include "Supervising" credits in the above categories, examples: "Supervising Art Director", "Makeup Supervisor", except where explicity forbidden above.]

For the purposes of DVDProfiler, do we include Supervising Producer(s)?

I take the above back based upon the Rule, Supervising Producer is not expressly prohibited so it would be OK. I would not extend that to Production Supervisor however

You can't extend it to Production Supervisor as that credit is explicity forbidden.  As you noted, however, Supervising Producer is allowed.

Production Supervisor and Supervising Producer are not the same job. A Supervising Producer oversees the writers on a TV show, where as a Production Supervisor AKA Post Production Supervisor works with the Director and Editor to oversee all aspects of Post Production, such as editorial, VFX, Sound Mixing, Color Timing and Mastering of all deliverables that the studios reqiure.
