While refreshing my profiles I noticed that these both by upc not disc id. It seems that there is a battle between disc IDs.
Now are disc ID's in a profile record by UPC like a cover image in that first come first served ? Or which would be better, if the system could keep both disc ID's linked to the UPC.
Just wonder, I don't have a dog in this fight.

| Posted: | | | | If a new Disc IDs come out for an existing UPC they can be submitted. I'll just quote the rules: Quote: If your Disc ID differs from the Disc ID in the main database, you may change it and re-contribute it. All Disc IDs are stored in the main database and are used for disc identification within DVD Profiler. If you drop a DVD into the PC Profiler will recognize it if it has ever been submitted and approved, even if it isn't the current ID. Myself and other will generally list the current ID and the new ID in our notes so it can be tracked in the future (and hopefully limit the back and forth of people submitting old IDs as new). | | | Bad movie?
