| Posted: | | | | First off, I apologize if this is posted in the wrong place; I downloaded DVD Profiler today and this is my first ever post on these forums. My copy of Takashi Miike's Visitor Q is the special edition called Visitor Q+ ( Amazon.com listing). DVD Profiler didn't recognize its UPC when I tried adding it to my collection, so I want to add it to the database. My question is, should I call it Visitor Q or Visitor Q+? The film's called Visitor Q, but the title on the cover and the Amazon.com listing both add the +. Thank you. |

| Posted: | | | | Hi... Welcome to the forum. At least for the online (contributed profile)...
Per Rules the title comes from the cover... original title from the film credits if different. So going by what you said... it should be...
Title: Visitor Q+ Original Title: Visitor Q (unless they put Visitot Q+ in the opening credits as well... that is rare... but can happen) | | | Pete | | | Last edited: by Addicted2DVD |

| Posted: | | | | Not sure about the original title since this is a Japanese movie. IMDb has it as Bijitâ Q. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | In my opinion, the title is still "Visitor Q". "Visitor Q+" was released to DVD in 2009 and I believe that the + on the slip cover is just to indicate it has special features that weren't included in the original release that came out in 2002. Therefore, the + should go into the Edition Field not the Title Field. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection | | | Last edited: by Bad Father |

I understand that this is straight-to-video release so there was no theatrical distribution? How was the title represented in "original" Japanese (DVD)release? If it uses Japanese lettering (kanji?) then in my opinion correct Original Title is Bijita Q. If all releases has it as Visitor Q, then you are correct. IMDB lists Visitor Q as a International (English title). |
