| Posted: | | | | I was wondering if the videoclip in the Youtube link can be seen as a bonus trailer or not.

My Hangover DVD only has this clip before the movie starts. Must the checkbox in the Extra's menu be checked or be unchecked. |

| Posted: | | | | What you linked to is not a trailer. It isn't an extra of any kind. No features check box should be used for this. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

| Posted: | | | | In my opinion: no.
In fact, I don't think I have seen profiles where these sort of promotion clips are added to the extras (or maybe they have and there are genuine bonus trailers on the disc as well).
As far as I am concerned, they are no different than all the copyright notices, anti pirating clips, etc. |

| Posted: | | | | No, doesn't fit into the two trailer categories. I would say it's something similar a studio trailer montage, which should not be added as Bonus Trailer Quote: Bonus Trailers I Theatrical Trailers or TV spots for the other films/shows. Do not include studio trailer montages. | | | Last edited: by VirusPil |

| Posted: | | | | My opinion was actually the same but a contribution from T!M made me wonder in which category this sort of clips can be placed.
Normally next to this clip there are some other trailers. |

| Posted: | | | | It's a commercial, not a trailer.
Until/unless we add "commercials" to the features, this doesn't qualify as any kind. |

| Posted: | | | | What about those trailer shows that are (really) promotional about the BD format? For one title I have, I made a note about it as a trailer show. |

Until/unless we add "commercials" to the features, this doesn't qualify as any kind. Trailers are commercials. | | | 99.9% of all cat plans consist only of "Step 1." |

Trailers are commercials. Yeah, true. But trailers are a commercial for one film, these are commercials for many films and a new TV, new Blu-ray player (although why tout Blu-Ray on Blu-Ray, we already know!?), etc... Ken will have to reword the trailers to 'commercial selling one film only'. | | | Last edited: by bigdaddyhorse |

Trailers are commercials. True, but, while all trailers are commercials, not all commercials are trailers. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
