2 years ago I was an extra for The Fighter, now the same company is looking for extras for Ted and The Dark Knight Rises! I had a good time that day and got to see myself in the final film when The Fighter hit theaters (it was the final fight of the movie, in the UK - quite interesting as it was filmed in Mickey Ward's hometown, yet we all had to root for the other guy!  ).  Anyways, since I did that film, the company sent out an email asking for extras for Ted.  While signing up for that, I also saw they needed extras for The Dark Knight Rises.  Both of these are as unpaid extras.

Ted is being directed by Seth Macfarlane, he of Family Guy fame, and stars Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis.  It has been shooting in the Boston area for several weeks now.  They are now looking for extras for a scene being filmed at the famous Hatch Shell in Boston on Saturday, July 9 from 7:00pm to 3:00am.  It appears to be a concert scene they're filming, and a multi-Grammy winning singer (to be named later) will also be on-set performing for the scene.  If you are in the Boston area and want to sign up, you can do so: here!

I don't think I need to say much more than: The Dark Knight Rises!  The scene they need extras for will be filming in Pittsburgh on Saturday, August 6 from 7:00am to 7:00pm.  The scene is a football game between the Gotham Rogues and the Rapid City Monuments.  It goes on to say "Plan on tons of special effects, stunts, explosions and pyrotechnics".  If you are in the Pittsburgh area and want to sign up, you can do so: here!
