Insufficient data:
Which OS (version and patches)? E.G. Win 7 64 Bit Home Premium SP1
Which Security Software?
Since when does this error occur? Directly after installation or did it work and the error occurred later?
Were there any recent changes to your system (shortly before this error occured)?

In general an Access violation can have two main reasons:
1) Defective and/or overheated Hardware, usually RAM-modules or CPU.
2) Insufficient writing rights for the program.

- In case of defective/overheated Hardware the errors would occur on other programs too. Perform a stress-test with a program like SiSoft Sandra.

- Insufficient writing rights are usually caused by overzealous security software, check what happens if you set DVDProfiler as "Trusted".
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

That's the type of error that programmers try to shield you from, so Invelos would probably consider it a bug if you can't resolve it by one or more of:

- reboot PC
- repair DB
- re-install DVDP

And it you open a ticket, you will definitely need the kind of info that Silence pointed out ...
Thanks for your support.
