I keep my DVDs in different binders: BluRay in one binder, DVDs in another, and DVD-R recordings of recorded shows, etc. in yet another. I've separated titles in DVD Profiler by Media Type, which has worked well. However, I'm noticing that BluRay discs are oftened bundled with DVD copies and when I add them to my collection, the title shows as a single set with both Bluray and DVD copies.

I'd like to print out separate lists, in alphabetical order, of my BlueRay discs, and another printout of just the DVDs, which I store separately as mentioned above. Unfortunately, since some titles include both media types, when I go to print out, I get what looks like multiple copies of the same title because the report is printing out both the Bluray and DVD copies.

Since I keep the discs in binders and not their original cases, it there a way I can separate these discs in DVD Profiler so I can print out separate listings by media type? Or, is there a way I can flag a set of discs to print, but have only those of a specific media type (e.g. Bluray) print out?

I've been flagging the discs I want in a repot, then sorting by ascending, then printing out a report. But now that I've got titles that have additional entires under the little 'plus' sign to expand, I'm not sure how to sort my collection?

Any advice on the best way to do this?

for occasions where there is both a blu ray and dvd in the box, I change the main profile to be only blu ray and then add a child which is for the dvd.
