I would like to add some films to my wishlist that haven't been released on Blu Ray yet. I don't have an EAN as there isn't one yet so how would I go about this?

Should I create a false EAN until one is released?

I realise I can create a 'Local' version but is there no way to share it with you guys etc?

Until you have the EAN there is no way to add it to the main database. Fake EANs are against the rules and should never be contributed.

Until the EAN is released Local version is the only way it can be done.

My furry friend is correct.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

For Blu-rays (or DVDs), the best solution, if you're in the UK, to look up an EAN for titles, especially those that haven't yet been released, is to search the British Video Association website, who are the guys who allocate them.

Never be tempted to submit a title with a false EAN.

You can also enter the corresponding DVD in your wishlist, and replace it with the BD when it becomes available, or when you purchase it.

do what I do - add it as a manual title (without any UPC). Then when it gets released update it to be the correct UPC
