Is there a way to select the "Watched by" option in bulk? I have over 450 DVDs and I don't want to go through all one by one to select the "Watched by" option. I want to be able to get a report based on the dvds that I have watched or not watched as well as the dvds my Wife has watched/ not watched

Try the "Bulk-Edit"- PlugIn from the Downloads section.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Yes there is: flag all the movies you want to change, Collection -> Flagged -> Last Watched and simply choose a user and a date. Date in this case could be "Use purchase date" or "January  First, 2000" ... or something similar that tells you that this is not the actual date but a placeholder.

Sorry Silence. Can't do that. Last Watched creates an "Event" in the database which includes user name, date and other info. I would like to be able to do stuff like that, but plugins can't access the User file.

Anyway, in this case it is not needed - Mithi's solution is perfect.
Thanks for your support.

There is a bug in the "Watched By" process in which, when flagging multiple titles and setting the "watched by" event, the titles will not show the "Last Watched" date in the column "Last Watched" until you restart the program. Whereas, if you add a "Watched by" event to individual titles they will show the "Last Watched" date in the "Last Watched" column immediately after editing.

A bug indeed, but no need to restart: simply press F12 for "Clear all Filters" or hit on the toolbar.
