If you have a lot of those it's a bit time consuming to add them all. I like Orange CD's features for music, but it runs incredibly slowly on my PC. But my PC is very old, so other people might not have that problem. | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.

I particularly like the Start Reading/Finish Reading feature. Is there a way to have multiple authors for a single book? I looked but can't find the option. Some of my novels are written by two (or in one case, three) authors. | | Posted: | | | | Unfortunately there is no proper way to do this.
Basically you have 2 options:
1. Duplicate books that have more than one author so that they appear under each author name - this option only works if you don't care about the 'book count'. If how many books you own is unimportant then the duplicate feature works.
2. List only the primary author and then add the secondary authors in the description field.
I tend to do a combination of the two. So, for example, for James Patterson would be my primary before I think about Maxine Paetro or Andrew Gross. But, on the other hand, authors such as Paul Stewart & Chris Riddell who ALWAYS write together, I have duplicated.
According to the bookTome website a new version is in development with a complete overhaul...so this issue may be addressed in the future. |
