| Posted: | | | | In Poseidon, there is a credit for:
Body Replicas Designed and Created by K.N.B. EFX Group
KNB EFX Supervisors: Gregory Nicotero, Howard Berger
Can those be entered as creature design, or not ? | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

I was thinking the same thing so, despite my wanting to have them in the profile, I wouldn't include them either. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | I think you'll find that K.N.B. is a make-up effects company.
Likewise, in my collection, every entry for Nicotero and Berger is for make-up/make-up FX. |

Quote: Likewise, in my collection, every entry for Nicotero and Berger is for make-up/make-up FX. Agreed once more. However, that doesn't automatically mean they get a "Make-up Effects" credit here. The simple question that remains is: is "Body Replicas Designed and Created by" listed as a valid job under the "Make-up Effects" credit in the rules? It's not. As such, this would be one of the many, many things that I do track, but only locally, using the excellent "custom crew" feature. |

Not in the Movie Credits Business. Where did you say in that line that Quoting bbbbb: Quote: All movie viewers know the difference between a human corpse and a creature. Sorry a human being as a whale or an alien or a cat or any other living/dead being is/was a creature whatever it is living or not isn't relevent. | | | Last edited: by Jimmy S |

| Posted: | | | | I went the safe way, and added them to the custom crew section, and thus not contributed.
Thanks everyone for sharing their opinions. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

| Posted: | | | | Had this movie not been rated PG-13, the body doubles would've meant/led to great gore effects. As it is, they're heavy puppets to throw around the set. Seriously though, if this was Hostel where you see someone digging into the bodies, then I'd lean toward calling it make-up effects. A corpse laying on the set is decoration and not close to anything but a local only credit (which I would track personally if I owned that dvd, which I won't). |

Soundbite for TransformersSeveral creatures from The Mist (their word, not mine)The Guild Navigator from SiFi's DuneMany creatures from Evolution (again, their words, not mine)I could go on, but the fact is, they are not just a make-up effects company. Quote: Likewise, in my collection, every entry for Nicotero and Berger is for make-up/make-up FX. You own 'The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian', yes? Creature Design is a fairly new credit, so it is not surprising that they aren't listed as many times as they should be. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
