Hello everyone.

What would this count as?  Some sort of Case Type, or Slip Cover, or as anything else, or nothing?

This DVD (024543170815) has a standard keep case containing a sleeve.  However, glued onto the front of the keep case (with removable glue) was a different version of the front of the sleeve.  This is of a similar design, but has an additional banner along the top and a critics quote removed from the centre, with the layout of the other elements common to both having been adjusted to take these changes into account.  (In other words it’s not something that looks like a seller just knocked it together for some reason; it looks professional and whoever did it would have probably needed access to the original art work to reposition the elements too.)  It’s printed on a thin card and does fit inside the transparent, plastic part of the keep case, should it have been put in front of the existing front cover in there, rather simply glued onto the outside of it.

I can’t provide any evidence that it was part of the original release, so I won’t be contributing it.  However, if I could show it was part of the DVD when it was first released (and also for purposes of keeping local records anyway), what do people think it is (if anything) in terms of the database?

Thanks  -  Paul
Do you ever find yourself striving for perfection with an almost worthless attempt at it?  Guttermouth "Lemon Water".  Also, I include in my Profiler database VHS tapes, audio DVDs, audio books (digital, cassette and CD), video games (digital, DVD and CD) and 'enhanced' CDs with video tracks on them, as well as films and TV I've bought digitally.  So I'm an anarchist, deal with it.  Just be thankful I don't include most of my records and CDs etc in it too; don't think I haven't been tempted...

One thought - we usually don't include stickers, and this is a big one.

Cheers for those thoughts and the link.  I'm happy with the official KC decision (and that there is one too).

I really should start to upload my re-release covers, as I do come across them quite often.
