| Posted: | | | | I'm sure I saw a topic in the forum like this recently, but am unable to find it.
In The Ninth Gate there is a credit for Bernard & Marinette Richier as Cafe Owners. How should I enter this in the profile?
I thought about this: Cafe Owners (group divider) Bernard Richier [Bernard & Marinette Richier] Marinette Richier [Bernard & Marinette Richier]
But maybe there are other / better ideas... |

| Posted: | | | | That way is fine, I wouldn't vote against it.
But I think the Credited As part is not needed. The surname is distributable to the two given names. If I speak of "my cat and dog" it is clearly understood that I am referring to both "my cat" and "my dog." Names work the same way. Writing "Bernard & Marinette Richier" is just a shortcut for "Bernard Richier" and "Marinette Richier." |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks gang. Since there is no rule covering it but it seems to be the general consensus, I will stop contributing listings with that kind of credit and keep them local. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |

| Posted: | | | | I certainly wouldn't vote no to leaving off the "credited as" but I have to admit I think it's nice to see the exact wording from the screen. Leaving off the "credited as" means we don't get to see that they were credited as a couple - an extremely minor thing, but that's why I use it. |

Indeed, if the Credited As is used you get to see the proper credit twice. Double the pleasure, double the fun! | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |
