| Posted: | | | | Hi y'all,
I have movie 'All I Want' entered under disc ID (873C-81B0-A4CE-934A). When I scan barcode to try and update entry (or try to 'Change EAN'), Invelos tells me that the EAN on the box (5035822609235) refers to a movie entitled 'Maximum Risk: A Widescreen Presentation'.
I'm fairly sure my DVD is genuine (I only buy real ones - but I do have teenage kids!) and also, the same 'Max Risk' DVD seems to be posted twice (with different EAN's) on the website. Furthermore, the covers on those postings don't appear to refer to the by-line 'A Widescreen presentation' either.
What to do methinks. Any ideas oh knowledgeable ones? | | | Gonna jump...gonna jump... |

| Posted: | | | | Could you tell from the rear cover scans if the other movie also has the EAN of 5035822609235? It wouldn't be the first time that an EAN has been used more then once. Which is probably why the movie is in the database under the disc id. Matter of fact I just got one with the same type of problem. If the other one is correct with the same EAN... there really not much you can do but keep yours under the disc id. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Since the EAN 5035822609235 is already occupied by "Maximum Risk" there is no other way than to enter your DVD, that seems to share this EAN, by DiscID.
A short check of the "Maximum Risk" profile showed that the EAN used seems to be correct, even though the Edition clearly is not.
Sad but true it sometimes happens that an EAN/UPC occurs twice for different content. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
