| Posted: | | | | I'm updating (adding) box set box set contents for "The Greatest Generation", and at the start I get:
FBI Warning Dastar (presents) A Timeless Media Group Presentation
and then at the end credits I get:
NBC Universal, Inc.
Who is the studio, and what sequence for the media companies? |

| Posted: | | | | I could be wrong so I'm sure others will chime in, but:
Dastar Timeless Media Group (not sure about NBC Universal)
As for MC, is there anything on the back cover? Like Distributed by or a logo? If it is from NBC Universal, there could be something like Universal Studios Home Entertainment on the lower left or right corners. Without seeing I can't be sure. | | | Last edited: by The Movieman |

| Posted: | | | | (c) 2005 NBC Universal, Inc. ... (c) 2005 Timeless Media Group. Distributed by the Timeless Media Group ...
That's the back cover, lower left.
So then, they could all be studios, media companies, or what?
Also: The printed cover indicates "Playable Worldwide", but AnyDVD thinks:
"Media is locked to region(s): 1!" |

| Posted: | | | | Then IMO it would be Timeless Media Group for the Media Company slot. |

"Media is locked to region(s): 1!" If AnyDVD is reliable in reading regions (I've never used it myself) then that overrides the back cover. The disc itself is a better source for this info than the cover is. |

| Posted: | | | | Disc overrides cover indeed, but not for media companies. They aren't always the same either, esp. ones from Sony after they got MGM. Something I just did had Sony Home Entertainment on cover, but a Columbia Pictures Home Entertainment video logo on disc itself.
Timeless is definitly the media company on this example. |

| Posted: | | | | So I contributed the box set, but I don't know if the individual discIDs, etc., automatically get uploaded with that, or if each has to be submitted separately. Previously there was nothing on any of the three discs. |
