Version 3.7.2 running on Windows 7 32 bit Ultimate

The third disc of a box set (The Tudors, 3rd season) shows in the list of owned DVD's but is not accessible in that choosing the entry changes nothing in the Info/Overview/Images/etc panels.  The other two discs behave as expected.  If I run "Check for Child Profiles" I am informed that disc three is missing and it is added, giving me two entries for disc 3 in the box set, one of which is not selectable.  If I delete disc 3 the odd behaving entry is also moved out of the box set (still not selectable).  Rerunning the "Check for child profiles" adds an appropriate 3rd disc and also moves the odd behaving disc 3 back into the box set.

Try a database repair via "Tools -> Options -> Utilities -> Repair database..."
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Thanks - I never knew such a tool existed;  It seems to have worked, rebuilding the collection gave several errors indicating that an index to a non-existent record needing to be removed.  After the repair the odd entity is gone.
