I've run into a case where the Media Company name is longer then the fiend allows.

In this case the "Toho Master Series" has a MC of "Sony BMG Music Entertainment Home Entertainment"  (Yes, it's really credited that way on both the case and opening DVD roll)

Which when entered gets truncated to 'Sony BMG Music Entertainment Home Enter"  Since we're not supposed to abbreviate I've left it truncated as is but it look strange.  Not sure what the right answer is in this case.

While the rule does say not to abbreviate, you have to in this case.  The simplest way is to abbreviate the last word and enter it as 'Sony BMG Music Entertainment Home Ent.'.

I am not sure what I would do... it would either be what Martian said... or I would just let it cut off where it is.

I have not objection to leaving it as it, it's just that, aesthetically, adding the period at the normal abbreviation point just looks cleaner to me.

I like the Martians idea of "normal abbreviation point just looks cleaner to me"
