Changing Profile Cover Images |

| | Posted: | | | | I'm new to the forums but I was wondering if there is any way to change the images (front and back cover) and upload the new images to your online database. It shows on my profiler on my PC but i cant upload the image to show on my web catalog. Still shows old pics. Sorry if this has been asked before, but I wasn't sure, I haven't seen it in any other forums. Thanks for any help  |

| | Posted: | | | | Welcome to the forum!  If any of your scans are not an original release scan, then they should not be contributed to the online database. One of the shortcomings, in my opinion, is that the database does not allow us to contribute any other covers than the the original release ones. There is a place that you can share your cover scans with the invelos community: http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=422971. It is important that you lock your local database cover scans or your covers may be lost if they differ from the databases. |

However you can install other software which will use your own covers (not the ones in the central database) by uploading these to your own web space and then running PHP software to display them. | | Posted: | | | | Hey, thanks a lot for the welcome. I kind of figured that I wouldn't be able to upload my own, but I figured I'd ask. That phpDVDProfiler looks very interesting. I might give that a shot and see what happens. I just thought if I could upload my own images I could catalog other things like games or books and use better res pics for some of the movies. I know that the other forums mention this a few times, about games I mean, and it doesn't look like invelos is coming out with any software like that.  And all the other software is ridiculously expensive for web viewing like that collectorz site. Guess I can dream  |
