Hi,

I am in the process of building a new computer based on the ASUS i7 960 Quad Core which is a 64bit processor.  I need to know if DVDP will run on a 64 bit system or am I restricted to 32 bit?  I'm not junking the old computer so I can easily keep Profiler running if I am restricted.

Cheers and thanks in advance for your advice.

No problem running on Win 7 Professional and Home Premium 64 bit systems.  However, the DVDP is a 32bit program and will install it self as such.

You can run every 32bit software on a 64bit OS. Only 16bit software won't work.

20bit works fine, but the display gets blurry.

Depends on host and server.

Some testing will be needed on that 20bit.

There's also a 24bit version but there the registers are smaller (0.33L instead of 0.5L).

But If you have 3 slots and you take two 20bit and one 24bit you have your 64bit system. It's just not recommended to operate it alone.

Your picture showed the 20bit version, but with 0.33L registers. Codename Stubbi.
