Has anyone else had this problem with this title. It plays fine on my computer, but won't play on my Sony BDP-S360 Blu-ray player. I get the error message Cannot play back this disc. Invalid.

Loaded up and plays fine on my Sony BDP-BX37. Could be player compatibility issue, or more likely a messed up disc. It does play in my computer as well (not everything plays in my computer drive. Most Fox blus won't read at all and will say no disc inserted).

I just got my replacement from Amazon.com and had the same problem so in desperation I went and purchased a third copy from Best Buy, and lo and behold the very same problem. I seems that this particular BR title from Anchor Bay does not like my Sony BDP-S360.    So I gave up and at least Best Buy let me have the DVD version for the same price as the BR $9.99 (Thier regular price for the DVD being $14.99.).

Is your player up to date?

Anyway, yeah, no problem on my Sony BDP-BX2.

Yeah I made sure of that before I tried the replacement. I had the same problem with Starship Troopers BR a while back and recently with Sanctuary the Complete First Season, that one was definitely a bad disc number one tho. Four different sources on that one.

(Maybe I'll upgrade my BD player next month!  )

I just tried it on my old player, a Manavox NB530, and that works as well, but takes around 5 minutes to get from inserting the disc to the menu, and that's with skipping through the previews. Hitting top menu on the previews caused disaster and a near complete freeze-up, eject still worked.

This is standard behavior for this model BD player. It's a cheap one (the cheap ones they sell at Wal-Mart, usually for under $100) and takes at least 5X longer to load any BD than my Sony does.

Gotta recommend my Sony BX37, that was just over $100 at Sams Club and so much better a player in every way possible, things even look a bit clearer and crisper played on that, but that could be my brain playing with me.

Thanks for the recommendation, bigdaddyhorse. I really would like to stay with a Sony.

This is only $10 now at Amazon, but I'm still hedging. Is this worth the upgrade if I already have the Millennium Edition?

I think so, here's some help to judge. This link and the $9.99 sale price made me upgrade my ME dvd. I haven't got around to watching it yet, but it looked nice when I tested it on the HD set.

You lose the original mono audio (if you care) but get a new half hour featurette.

What the hell. I'll pick it up this weekend, thanks!

I'll keep the ME to watch in my rooms without a DVD player. That pic looks pretty damn decent.
