How are most people adding their purchase price?  Are you including shipping if you purchase online etc?

I use the SRP field to track the original item price in the original currency.

Th purchase price is what I actually paid in my own currency, including shipping costs & customs.

So when I buy in a german store, both fields are identical. When I buy abroad, I have two different values.

I don't know about most people, but I'd say that since this is a local field you should decide for yourself what you want to know. If you want to keep track of how much you have actually spent, then it makes sense to include shipping, customs and what have you.

Personally I don't enter anything. I don't want to know how much money I've squandered on my 4000+ titles...

I enter the purchase-price all-included, meaning with shipping and taxes/customs if they apply. As currency I allways use euro, because at the end of the day this is what I pay.

Additionally I enter in the notes-section the item-price and the item-shipping in local currency.
E.g. my recently bought "Stargate" BD from the UK is entered with 7,75 EUR and the note section tells me that the price was 5,45 GBP plus 0,99 GBP for shipping.

I also include the entire cost paid, including shipping and/or tax if applicable.  If it's a package price (buy 1 get 1 free, etc.) I cost average.
