When I look at all the DVD's, sorted by Collection number, I see:
2511
2512
2519
2520

2513 to 2518 are absent, however I cannot use those numbers for anything else.

I think I created the problem when adding some new DVD to my collection, I was adding to them "DVD's Ordered", however before saving the one's I selected, I changed the option to "DVD's Owned".

I've tried to "repair" the Database and "Re-assign Collection Numbers", neither resulting in those missing numbers from either re-appearing or disappearing.

Any suggestions?

You can't use them for anything else?

What happens/what do you see if you go to a profile (say, 2512) and try to change the number of that profile to one of the absent ones? Error message? Warning sign saying it's currently being used?

Did you try reassigning the collection numbers
or if you have something sacred about your numbers move the profiles you misplaced that are in ordered to owned and turn off the collection number under personal information then move back to ordered.

Are any of these missing numbers children profiles in a box set? Try expanding some and seeing if they were given a number.

OK... I will take today's idiot award!

It appear my update I did to my listing added the individual disc to one of my box sets ( that I wasn't aware it did ).

I just realized now, that when you try to assign a collection number that is already in use, you can hover over the caution sign and see what title has the number you want to use.

Thanks for your replies as they made me think / dig further than I did yesterday.
