| Posted: | | | | Sorry to revisit this, but I can't find a divinitive answer. I have seen these accepted and rejected in other profiles.
I just reaudited "Take the Lead" and found a heading New York Crew. There is a DoP and an Art Director. Should I enter these? If yes, should I use an Episode divider and make it it's own section or Group dividers within the regular sections. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |

| Posted: | | | | If the New York Crew has it's own DoP listed, that usually means they are unit crew, not location crew. True location crew, at least from what I can tell, will not have one listed as the DoP will go on location with them. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free. - Citizen G'Kar |

| Posted: | | | | Per Rules episode dividers are not allowed for within a single movie. Rules Quote: Quote: Dividers
Dividers allow the segregation of cast and crew into logical groupings. Wherever possible, these groupings should mirror the film credits.
* Use Episode dividers for TV show episodes, distinct films, or other logical episodic distinction. Also use episode dividers for full cast division, such as "Japanese Voices". * Use Group dividers to designate cast grouped in the credits such as "Soldiers" or "Additional Cast". * "Cast", "In order of appearance" or other similar headers at the start of the credits should not be entered. * Also use Group dividers for crew teams, included only if the crew meets the other listing requirements. * Groups should be ended with a "Group End" type divider, unless the next entry begins a new group. Do not add a group end divider at the end of the cast, or at the end of a crew section.
There is no exception there for location crew... and I never seen Ken or Gerri make an exception to this rule here on the forum. So unless I can be shown such a statement from Ken or Gerri I would always vote no to location crew using an Episode Divider. As for whether or not this case is location crew... I leave that to those that know better then I do. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I've run into this type of problem too with many Crew members. Here is one thread that discusses this topic: http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=451091.
My opinion:
"2nd Unit" > No credit
"NY Crew" > Credit using Group Divider. |
