Good day, Sirs,

in the Mission: Impossible movies Bruce Geller is credited as "Based on the Television Series created by".

In Profiler I've seen this transformed to "Original Characters By" or to "Created By". What is right? Or should it be "Original Material By" (= Based on)?

2nd, in regard of the czech names, Profiler does differentiate between s and š (like in Gaston Šubert), but not between r and r (like in Jirina Trebicka), right? Why? And how do I enter the name exactly as in the credits?

Love, bbbbbb

1. It should be OMB.

2.  We cannot reproduce all characters, because the program uses Microsoft Code page 1252, instead of Unicode. (Ken says maybe 4.0 ).  Until then, just enter them with the approximate character from the Keyboard...

1. OMB.

2. Some of this charecters can be entered with a copy and paste. See here:
http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=495257&PageNum=1&messageID=1412504#M1412504
For the others I would also enter the approximate character.

As the crew chart indicates...Based on [anything] By...it is OMB.  There are some that will argue 'Created by', but it was the TV series that was created by Bruce Geller, not the films.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

It should be Original Material By, I believe. He didn't just create the characters but the entire premise.

Thanks for the answers, Sirs, I completely agree with the results.

Maybe I should upgrade the contributions, yeah, of course I should.

But I can reproduce r in the forum, can't I?

Some letters do and some don't.  The r with the Breve or Caron does not....
